Coorg Extended Tour Package from Bangalore
A Fuller 4-Day, 3-Night Journey Through Kodagu — Coffee Estates, River Origins and a Wildlife Safari at Nagarhole
Kodagu, Given a Fourth Day
This extended 4-day, 3-night version of our Coorg trip is built for travellers who don't want to rush Kodagu's coffee hills and would rather add a genuine wildlife dimension to the trip. It still covers the classic sights — Madikeri Fort, Abbey Falls, Raja's Seat and the Golden Temple at Bylakuppe — but spreads them over a more relaxed pace and dedicates a full day to Nagarhole National Park, one of Karnataka's premier tiger reserves bordering the Kabini backwaters.
The extra time also allows a half-day pilgrimage to Talakaveri, the sacred source of the River Kaveri high on Brahmagiri hill, and a detour to Iruppu Falls, a waterfall linked in local legend to an episode from the Ramayana. Together, these additions turn a quick coffee-country weekend into a fuller look at Kodagu's landscape, wildlife and pilgrimage sites.
Why Choose This 4-Day Version?
One Short Trip also runs a shorter 2-3 day Coorg Explorer package covering the town's core sights. This extended version exists for travellers who want to add a real wildlife safari and the Kaveri's sacred source without feeling rushed.
A Full Wildlife Day
An entire day set aside for Nagarhole National Park and the Kabini backwaters, not squeezed into a half-day detour.
Talakaveri Included
The sacred source of the River Kaveri, a stop not featured on our shorter Coorg package.
Iruppu Falls Detour
A scenic, mythologically significant waterfall on the Karnataka-Kerala border.
A More Relaxed Pace
Core Madikeri sights spread across the extra day rather than rushed into one.
Deeper Coffee Country Time
More time at working coffee estates, not just a drive-past.
Ideal for Nature Lovers
Best suited to travellers who specifically want a wildlife safari as part of their Coorg trip.
