These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of oneshorttrip.com (the “Site”), operated by One Short Trip (“we”, “us”, “our”). By visiting the Site, contacting us through it, or asking us to help plan or arrange any part of a trip, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree with any part of them, please don’t use the Site or our services.

We may update these Terms from time to time as described in the Changes section below. Continuing to use the Site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

About Our Service

One Short Trip is a travel guide and content site covering short getaways from Bangalore and nearby destinations across Karnataka and Rajasthan. Our content — destination guides, itineraries, packing lists and travel tips — is based on first-hand travel by our founder Vinutha and information verified through trusted fellow travellers.

In addition to publishing free travel content, we offer trip-planning assistance on request: if you contact us by phone, WhatsApp, or our enquiry form, we can help you plan an itinerary and connect you with hotels, transport, guides or tour operators for your trip. One Short Trip is not a travel agency, tour operator, or online travel booking platform in the sense of processing payments or issuing bookings directly through this website — see the Trip Planning & Booking Assistance section below for how this works in practice.

Using Our Website

You’re welcome to browse, read and share our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. When using the Site, you agree not to:

• Copy, scrape, republish or redistribute our content at scale without permission (see Intellectual Property below).
• Use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair it, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our systems, or related accounts.

Trip Planning & Booking Assistance

Where we help you plan a trip — recommending an itinerary, suggesting places to stay, or putting you in touch with a hotel, homestay, driver, guide or tour operator — we act purely as a facilitator and source of advice, based on our own research and travel experience.

• Any booking, reservation, or contract for accommodation, transport, tours or other travel services is made directly between you and the relevant third-party provider (the hotel, operator, driver, airline, etc.), not with One Short Trip.
• Prices, availability, cancellation policies, refund terms and the quality of the actual service are set and controlled by that third-party provider, not by us.
• We do our best to recommend providers we trust, but we cannot guarantee the availability, pricing, safety standards, or conduct of any third party, and we are not liable for their acts, omissions, or the outcome of your trip.
• Any payments you make for accommodation, transport, tours, permits or entry tickets are made directly to the provider or through their own payment channels, unless we’ve explicitly agreed otherwise with you in writing for a specific booking.

If you have a complaint about a service booked through a provider we recommended, please let us know — we’re happy to help you raise it with them — but the provider remains responsible for resolving it.

Accuracy of Information

We work hard to keep our destination guides, prices, timings, opening hours, and “best time to visit” information accurate and up to date. That said, travel information changes — monuments close for renovation, entry fees increase, and transport schedules shift. We can’t guarantee that everything on the Site is current or error-free at the moment you read it.

Please independently verify critical details — opening hours, permits, prices, safety advisories, and travel documentation requirements — with the relevant official source before you travel, especially close to your departure date.

Intellectual Property

The text, photographs, itineraries, guides, graphics and overall design of oneshorttrip.com are the property of One Short Trip or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You’re welcome to read, share, and link to our pages.

If you’d like to republish, copy, or substantially reuse our content elsewhere, please credit “One Short Trip” with a visible link back to the original page, and reach out to us first at hello@oneshorttrip.com for larger reproductions or any commercial use. User Conduct

Disclaimer of Warranties
